What's Fresh

Special Market

Thursday July 2 4:30-8pm

Town Square at City Hall

The usual place -- at an unusual time!

There's no market on Saturday, July 4, because of the parade and downtown goings-on, but on the preceding Thursday you can still stock up on produce, eggs, red-white-&-blue taters for a patriotic potato salad, Island-grown wine, and other goodies necessary for a dynamite weekend.

Fresh-picked blossoms, and plants for northwest gardens

Flowers make the Market a feast for the eyes; from the pinks and blues of spring to the riot of summer color and the golden tones of fall. You can take home three or four bouquets for less than what one would cost at a florist. And since these flowers are picked fresh from local gardens, they’ll stay beautiful for much longer than flowers that came from across the country, or overseas. So fill your home with color each week!

The Market also offers a terrific selection of landscape and vegetable plants. In the spring, you’ll find organic veggie and herb starts. Summer brings tomato starts and basil plants chosen for their performance in our climate. Local nurseries offer plants carefully selected for our northwest climate that will fill your garden with luscious foliage and flowers.
